The hotel is named after and designed by Michael Gravel, one of America's top architects. The hotel is one of the six hotels in Resort World Sentosa that sits on 121 acre of land. Resort World Sentosa feature six hotels, Universal Studios theme, the world's largest Marine Life Park (still in construction) and more than 60 dining outlets and a casino. sg 04/10The maple wood furnishing and the muted colors scheme create a warm and homely feel. All room comes with a King size bed or 2 double beds, pull-out writing desk and a hidden vanity mirror. Room amenities include Simmons "Cool Max" bed, duck down duvet, duck feather pillows, large LCD TV and coffee/tea making facility. The bathroom comes with circular shower stall, flower motif mosaic wall and black and white marble flooring. The bridge connecting Sentosa and the mainland is just at the door step. A short walk across the bridge is one of Singapore biggest shopping mall, Vivo City Shopping Center. It is within 15 minutes drive from central business and shopping districts in the mainland. Main attractions in Sentosa are within easy reach. Within Resorts World Sentosa, shuttle buses are available to bring guests around integrated resort. Palio features an open-kitchen concept offering authentic Tuscan cuisine with a variety of traditional Italian recipes. Light snacks and drinks are available at Michael's Lounge and Sky Bar. Modern building in khaki colour with olive green ribbed roof. The lobby is design with maple wood furnishing that gives a warm and welcoming feel. There is a chimney shape sitting area at one side of the lobby.
